Fees

Fees

Sessions cost $250, and run for 50 minutes.

Most clients will be eligible to a Mental Health Care Plan through their GP; this allows them to claim a rebate of $141.85 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

Clients with private health cover may also be eligible to claim a rebate through their provider following the sessions.

Cancellation Policy
If clients need to cancel or postpone your appointment, we ask that they please give the psychologist at least 24 hours’ notice; anything less than 24 hours will be considered a ‘late cancellation’. We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances happen. Therefore, each client is entitled to one late cancellation without charge. A second late cancellation will incur a fee of $125 (50% of the session fee). Any subsequent cancellations will be charged at the full session rate ($250).

Please note that not attending a scheduled session without prior notice still results in cancellation fees being charged. Medicare rebates cannot be claimed for cancelled/unattended sessions, therefore any cancellation fees will be an out of pocket expense. Cancellation/non-attendance fees need to be paid before the next appointment, in order to maintain the next scheduled appointment. Any existing booked sessions will be cancelled until this fee is paid.

Please note, the above policy does not apply for DVA clients as sessions are funded by DVA.
